About Tarrant County
The Tarrant County neighborhood offers a wide range of restaurants and cuisines as well asrecreational activities, and one of the most beautiful waterfronts in the City. East Boston homes mix the old with the new, and include many restored triple-deckers. Residents enjoy waterfront views of the City skyline from across Boston Harbor. They also have access to the beach by way of a scenic and brand-new greenway.
Just a few of the most famous area attractions:
World Famous Santarpio’s Pizza
Some say it’s one of Boston’s most famous restaurants. Located at 111 Chelsea St. it was originally established in 1903. Still owned and operated by the Santarpio family, the award winning pizzeria is prized for its pies but also serves an assortment of other foods.
LoPresti Park
LoPresti Park, is a newly refurbished, 4-acre waterfront park in the Maverick Square area. It’s one of East Boston’s several great outdoor recreation spots and boasts fantastic views, basketball courts (well lighted for night games), a street hockey rink, a cutting-edge artificial turf soccer field, and fantastic areas for jogging or walking along one of the best views of the Boston skyline available anywhere in the city.
